Amergis Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support students in a school-based environment. Position Summary
As a School-Based CNA / School Aide , you will provide essential support to students with medical, developmental, and behavioral needs. Working under the supervision of the school nurse or clinical designee, you will play a key role in fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment across 1:1 care, classroom support, and health office settings .
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 care and support for students with individualized needs

Assist in classroom settings with instructional support and behavior management

Support activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene and mobility

Assist in the school health office with monitoring and basic care

Perform basic health services as delegated by the school nurse

Collaborate with teachers, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)

Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred

Current CPR certification (if applicable)

Valid TB clearance (PPD or chest X-ray, as required)

Current health screening documentation per state requirements

Must meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements

Minimum age: 18 years

Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, reliable, and child-focused approach
